Erik Ekman erforschte die Basisemotionen - Freude, Angst, Trauer, Wut, Ekel.
In einer Performance-Installation empfahl die Künstlerin den Ausstellungs-Besucher*innen einen Cocktail nach Gefühl zu bestellen. Gewählt werden konnte aus den Basisemotionen Eckmans, ohne die Zutaten der Cocktails vorher zu kennen.
Die fünf Basisemotionen wurden in fünf schwarzen Tinten-Zeichnungen dar- und ausgestellt.

As an artist, I mind being consumed.
It’s a strange kind of theft — one that comes without doors being kicked in. Just quiet straws dipped into your mind, until your shared ideas are showing up with someone else’s name on it.
They don’t ask. They just take and claim it for themselves. Your thoughts become trends, your vision becomes aesthetic — but your influence disappears in the process. I’m tired of sharing ideas to go. The source everyone drinks from, but no one protects. This isn’t flattery - it‘s a lack of own ideas.
